Privacy policy

What we collect

We use Google Analytics for anonymous statistics only: number of visits, pages read, and where a visitor came from, such as a search engine or an AI assistant. It sets small analytics cookies. We do not turn on advertising features or link visitors to an account, and visitors have no accounts. Fonts and files all come from our own site.

Visit log

The site server records each page request: the time, the page, the IP address, the approximate country and city, the browser and device type, and the page you came from. We use it to protect the site and to learn which pages help and where visitors come from, including search and AI crawlers. This log sets no cookies, we do not link it to who you are, and it is deleted automatically after 90 days.

When you write to us

We keep what you type in the form: name, email, organization if you give one, topic, message, the page language and its address. To stop spam we also keep a one-way hash of the connection address; it changes every day and cannot be turned back into the address.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we keep your email, your language and when you subscribed and confirmed. We send it once a month through Resend, and nothing is sent before you confirm your address. Every issue has an unsubscribe link that stops all sending to you at once.

To read your message and reply. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Where it is kept

In a Supabase database, and a copy reaches our team through an automation scenario on Make so we can reply quickly. The site itself is hosted on Vercel, which passes the visit log to the same database. A weekly backup of the database is kept in the lab's private Google Drive.
